Marshford was born on the 27^th February 1976.  He did his primary education at a Farm school in Chitungwiza and went on to finish his secondary education in Seke 5 High School in Chitungwiza.  Mashford started sculpting during his early days of secondary education.  He was inspired by his uncle Chituwa Jemali together with his elder brothers Denny and Shaibu Kanyemba.

 He had work selected in display during the Zimbabwe Annual Heritage in 1990.  A lot of his sculptures can be found in major countries abroad such as Holland, Belgium, Britain, America, Germany and Oakland.
